Whey, or protein powder, is used by many bodybuilder to improve results of their trainning. Some people, who normally don’t train or don’t do workout, have prejuge on this kind of muscular supplements. Some people say that whey is some kind of drugs and it’s harmful for people who consume it. Does those judgements are true? For my position, I think that truly not! I’ll proove that its not by presenting: the composition, the advantages when you consume it and counter the main argument to proove that it’s kind of drugs.

 

The creation of the whey as many steps to finally have the powder. First, cows. These animals will mature in a control environment. They will be bread and fed to product quality milk. The milk will be transport by trucks to a factory. Once get there, the milk will be pasteurize to be kept longer and take away all the lumps. The liquid extrated by the pasteurization is the principal ingredient: The Whey! The scientific name of the whey is the lactozerum. The whey liquid will be send in a special room. This step serve to separate whey from glucid and lipid. At the end of this step, only protein will stay. The cleaned whey will go to a dyer where there’s hot and cold wind to transform the liquid in powder. After being producted, the whey will be analyze to verify the pourcentage of protein, calories, etc. When the analyze is done, the powder will be send in a huge shaker to add a specific flavor to the whey like chocolat, vanilla, banana, strawberry, etc. Then, the powder goes in the bags and there’s our protein whey.

 

There’s some advantages to consume whey! The protein whey main advantages are a save of time and money! To impress muscular mass, you need to train hard. The thing is that gym could be not fitting with your time or it cost too much per month. So to save a month of gym for example, you’ll need to consume whey. Whey is useful only in a long-term it takes time to feel and see the effect of the protein potion. The maximum of shaker possible to take per day is only two. Taking more than that in one day serve to nothing because your body couldn’t take that much of protein. Don’t forget to take protein in solid with some meat, peanuts, etc. Whey protein is a complement and should not remplace your food.

 

The principal argument that people who tried whey use to say that it’s not good is: Whey is not a magical potion and it don’t upragde my muscle mass! And they are right! Because whey is not a magical potion it’s true Whey principaly serve to grow some muscular mass in a long-term way. It’s impossible to take 10 kg of muscle in one month only by taking some protein powder. Whey is only a complement to a specific diet and a workout! Whey alone is not that much good for a person. But the combination of whey, trainning and a diet is the combo that will improve the mucular mass.

 

In conclusion, whey is not dangerous for us, it’s only protein, it only contain advantages and it serve to nothing alone without a workout and a diet. I hope that with this article, some judgement will fall down and people will not be afraid anymore of consuming whey.
