There are so many exceptional equestrian territory in Quebec city! You don’t need experience in horseback riding to have a great time  doing this activity. You will sure create wonderful memories with your friends, boyfriend/girlfriend, family after going in a stable. There’s a place named Excursion Jacques Cartier wich you can visit to try a new formula of riding . It’s a free riding formula called “backcountry riding”. The monitors are with you in case there is a problem, but you arent’t obligated to follow each other in a single file.

Everybody knows that old quebec is a very photogenic place to go. No matter where you aim your lens, the scenery is sure to be spectacular. However, a few lesser-known locations offer lovely viewpoints for different shots of the old city. Here are our suggestions:

  • Bassin Louise
  • Rue Couillard
  • Espace 400e
  • Rue du Sault-au-Matelot
  • Quebec Seminary Courtyard
  • Montmorency
  • Place de la FAO
  • Pierre-Duga-De-Mons-Terrace
  • Pillar Murals
  • Dauphine Redoubt
 4. Fire up your night

When summer comes, everybody thinks about firecamp nights with friends. We almost forget that we can do that in any season you want! Take out your winter kit, invite your friends and do it!

5. Feed birds

BIRD HOUSE – Affordable housing is still available at this bird sanctuary condominium. Several floor plans are available.:

Feeding birds in the garden is a popular activity. If you provide natural and supplementary food, your garden will be visited  by a lot of different birds during the month.  Create a little bird table (tutorial here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zHJ8CEn2i2M ) and fill it with food like black sunflower seeds,  split peas, beans, dried rice or lentils.

6. Go to a coffee shop

A huge cup of coffee will bring you a nice comforting feeling for a few hours. Coffe shops like Starbucks and Van Houtte are perfect places to do homeworks and study. There are also  some original coffee places in quebec like Ceramique café, Ma langue aux chats, I can tell by experience that they are worth it.

7. Get lost in a corn maze

Visiting a corn maze is not always the first activity we think of, but it is such a funny activity! A popular corn maze in quebec is named Labyrinthe des cèdres. It’s in Limoilou in the Domaine des Maizerets. It covers 350 meters and is made with 750 black thuyas. A nice activity to practice your orientation!
