Basketball court is back!

Students are very glad to be able to play basketball without worrying about the cars around

Mr, Francis Bélanger, the school director first thought about building the court last year in the beginning of spring.

They proceeded to the constructions in the summer along with the parking lot. They soon realized they could use the leftover of the parking lot material to build the court. As a result, the total cost or the operation isn’t much; although, one pole is worth 1000$.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                              If we go back to 7 years ago, there was a basketball court but it was removed after noticing that the ball may hit the cars around while playing. Now, the issue has been fixed since they located it far enough away from cars.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                 This project has been such a success among the students and also for the Basketball coach. Many students have been seen playing outside enjoying the new court.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                       ‘At lunchtime, we regularly meet outside and enjoy playing basketball altogether,‘- said a student in 9th grade.
