The movie sequel of the well known “Pee-wee 3D”( 2012)  is now out on the big screen. It was a long process but the film is finally done.

We can see the same characters from the first movie wich is Joey Boulet (Rémi Goulet) , Janeau Trudel ( Antoine-Olivier Pilon) and Julie Morneau ( Alice Morel-Michaud). Even if the characters are the same they evolve mentaly and it made a totally different story. It’s more serious than Pee-wee because it’s a higher level of hockey.

The scenes are filmed at the CGV and at the college of Jonquière ( where a protagonist will study in art and media technology) but also in a bar and a car dealership at Chicoutimi. Almost all the scenes were shot in Saguenay and Rouyn-Noranda.

The movie is about the consequences of the mistakes of youth and where friendship does not matter much. Alice Morel-Michaud, who plays Julie Morneau now became a sports journalist, she  said that the drama is deeper and that the characters are more complex. “We agree that the game in junior major is much faster than in the pee-wee. It required adaptation” said Rémi Goulet, the actor of Joey Boulet.
