Will there be less Cargo Ships in the next 25 years ?

One of the biggest boat pollution in the whole world : Cargo ships

I don’t know if you noticed, but, every year, 50 millions of cars equal to the reach of pollution that the Cargo ships produce in the sea. That’s only in an area of six football field ,so I can’t imagine in a complete ocean.

The goal of the shipping industry, is to continue to sail products, but with a slower speed when they drive to different country to reduce their pollution.

A few weeks ago, an alliance was made with the researchers, some environmentalists and industry organisations to put down the rate of pollution caused by gasoline.

The shipping boat company have a lot of environmental impacts. The industry hopes that the emissions go down to 50 to 250 percent by 2050 if any actions is taken. In United States of America, the degree of temperature climbs to 1,9 Fahrenheit so it is -16,72 Celsius.

In an everyday basis, about nine of ten of shipping products are send halfway around the world. “Reducing emissions from shipping is not an easy thing to do,” agrees Maurice Meehan, director of global shipping operations with the Carbon War Room, an international think-tank working on market-based solutions to climate change, founded by Richard Branson. “International shipping produces nearly one billion tons of CO2 emissions, which is approximately 2 to 3 percent of total man-made emissions,” says Tristan Smith, a reader in energy.

A lot of people who work in this industry think that the pollution is a big problem. “The industry is aware of the problem,” adds Meehan.

In Canada, more specifically in the province of Quebec, the air quality index is around 3 to 40 Celsius degree minimum.
