New type of concert because of Covid

The Flaming Lips performed a concert in weird conditions. Everyone was in a plastic bubble because of the Covid-19. Could this be a new way to perform from now on ?
On January 22th, the music band Flaming Lips did a show in Oklahoma city. They performed in their individual plastic bubbles on the scene.
The Flaming Lips are a rock band formed in 1983 in Oklahoma. There are five members, the singer, guitarist and leader of the band is Wayne Coyne.
Wayne Coyne had the idea for the individual plastic bubbles. He was used to rolling over the audience into inflatable bubbles during concerts, so why not procure one for everyone in the room.
Everything was well organized. Each bubble had a speaker for good sound, a water bottle, a towel to wipe condensation on the plastic and a sign « I have to go pee/I’m too hot ». When someone had to use the washroom a security guard escorted them to the toilets.
In the concert room they had placed 100 bubbles, approximately 9 square meters in which maximum three people could be in each.
However, the show couldn’t be too long because the bubbles had an oxygen reserve for only 1h10.
“It’s a very restricted, weird event,” “But the weirdness is so we can enjoy a concert before putting our families and everybody at risk. I think it’s a bit of a new normal — you might go to a show, you might not, but I think we’re going to be able to work it out.” said Wayne Coyne in december.
The show was a success. To get out of the room, people were rolling to the exits in their bubbles. This concert was the first one of two. The second one will be on march 18th, in Portland.
