Are Your Lungs at Risk?

While people were thinking that they were protected by masks, they were maybe intoxicated by them.

Some masks have been classified as potentially toxic. But remember that since January, high school students are obligated to wear surgical masks. These masks were provided by the government. People in schools were wearing them. Around the province, 4,6 million masks that are now potentially dangerous have been distributed to schools.

These masks have also been distributed by Revenu Quebec. They are asking their clients to be aware and stop wearing the masks SNN200642 if they have some in their possession.

Masks SNN200642 have been replaced in school because they contain a potentially toxic substance. They are easy to identify because they are masks that have a grey side and a blue side.

A lot of teachers and students were wearing them without knowing it could be a risk. “I have been wearing them since October,” said a speech therapist that worked in Montreal’s schools, to LaPresse.

Santé Canada has been doing evaluations that reveal that these masks contain nanoform graphene that could potentially make a precocious lung toxicity. Some people are worried because they were wearing these masks. Many people feel like they weren’t protected all this time.

The government asks companies that have these masks to stop distributing them and put them in a safe place. That is at least 4,6 million masks that people can’t use anymore for medical reasons. The government says that they act in the prevention of a possible danger. The risks do not concern pediatric masks.

According to authorities the models T1001 and HSC-HB-DMM are conform and can be worn.
