1$ = 1 Pound Removed From The Ocean

March 21, 2022
Two YouTubers have regrouped to raise money to remove plastic from the oceans.
After the success of Teamtrees, founded by Mark Rober and Jimmy Donaldson AKA Mr. Beast, have started Teamseas to help the ocean. The goal of Teamseas is to remove 30 000 000 pounds of plastic from the seas before the new year. To reach that goal, anyone can donate money. Every dollar that you donate removes one pound of trash from the ocean.
Every year at least 8 million tons of plastic end up with the other 5.25 trillion plastic pieces that are floating or underwater. In 2025 if we don’t do some things the ocean might have more than 17.5 million metric tons of trash.
Jimmy is an American Youtuber born in Kansas on May 7, 1998. To this day, he has about 75 million followers on his main channel. Mr. Beast is known for giving away huge amounts of money to his community.
Mark Rober is an engineer that worked for Nasa for nines years. Most of that time he was working on the rover curiosity. Now he is a father and he has a youtube channel with 20.3 million subscribers

Woahhh 1$ = 1 POUND?! Let me count how many pounds I can remove with my money. (Short pause-) I declare publicly with no shame that I can remove exactly 0 pound with my money. (At least it’s not in the negative numbers *YET*) Jokes aside, I am 110% with you when you say that pollution is bad! I am looking forward to seeing more texts like this.
