Squid Game Costumes Banned Schools for Halloween

In New York, elementary schools banned their children from dressing up as squid game characters for Halloween due to the amount of violence present in the show.

Some kids were even reported playing some of these violent games present in this show. But is it a little too much to forbid our kids to play games like red light, green light just because it’s in the violent show Squid Game? Legault was against this whole forbidding costumes thing and thinks it’s unacceptable.

Some parents sent an internal letter to a school saying that the costumes did not correspond to the school values. But on Halloween people dress up as horror movies characters like Freddy Krueger and Pennywise the clown which is as violent as squid games characters if not more.

So why are these costumes especially were banned from schools even though we know there is a lot worse for a Halloween costume. Schools should let children play all the games as long as it’s not played violently and red light, green light is not violent at all when you play it in real life. It’s not because it’s violent in the tv show that it’s also like this in real life.
