Debate About the Convoy of Liberty on Facebook

There are a lot of different opinions about the convoy of freedom that occurred in Ottawa over the last week.

The R premier posted his point of view about the manifestations in Ottawa on Facebook on February 12. His real name is Christian Hermès Seglobo Djohossou. The young man is from Benin, a French-speaking country in West Africa. Christian is a musician and entrepreneur in Ottawa.

His post talks about the way that Canadiens are manifesting for freedom but they are people that are in worse situations. Like the Uighur, the black people, the Palestinian, and the First Nations. In summary,  he’s saying that Canadians are in the freest country and the name of the convoy is an insult. Some people agree with the opinion of the musician. “Instead of impeding our economy and daily life, these freedom protesters should get on their knees and kiss the ground. If they were in China or Russia they would be locked up in some hellhole to rot. YOU HAVE FREEDOM OF SPEECH. By your ridiculous actions you have now caused a realignment and clarification of police powers to be enhanced.” said Shirley Paghal in the comments section. Valentine Krystlkat mentioned; “For real, if this was an unfree country, these people would have been shot or worse by now.”

Others disagree with him. “I didn’t know forced vaccinations were considered a free country! Spoken like a true Trudeau Patriot!!” replied Sheldon Court. Reginald Denison commented: “Don’t bullshit, liberal government is taking away our freedom.”
