Vladimir Putin Declares War to Ukraine

The Russian president, Vladimir Poutine, officially recognized the independence of the pro-Russian sparatist territories of Donetsk and Luhansk.The Minsk agreements are now in jeopardy. 

 

On the february 21st 2022, Vladimir Poutine made an authentic declaration of war to Ukraine on television. He decided to recognise the Russian-controlled areas of the southeast Ukraine as independent states, consequently he ordered his military to invade its neighbor.

 

According to a report by the country’s RIA Novosti newsagency, Russia’s forces have destroyed,on thursday, 74 above-ground military infrastructure facilities in Ukraine. Also, Russia’s defense ministry says its forces have destroyed eleven Ukraine’s aerodromes.

 

Attacks are taking place in their country according to the Ukraine’s national authorities. Within the first hours of the Russian invasion, around 40 Ukrainian militaries and 10 civilians were killed. The police force confirmed that, since the beginning of the day, 203 incidents were reported as Moscow launched its incursion. Meanwhile, in the region, Ukraine’s forces have imprisoned Russian militaries.

 

Emmanuel Macron, the French president, announced that France will be by Ukraine’s side. He warned that Russia’s invasion of its neighborhood will have permanente and ‘’deep’’ consequences for the continent of Europe.

 

“We will respond without weakness to this act of war, with calm, determination and unity,” said Emmanuel Macron to his french community. He also said that the war was a ‘’turning point in the history of Europe and our country’’ that would have ‘’ deep and lasting consequences for our lives’’.
