FaZe Clan Wins the IEM Katowice 2022

On Sunday, FaZe Clan won the Counter-Strike: Global Offensive IEM Katowice 2022 against G2.
Intel Extreme Master (IEM) Katowice is a big CS: GO eSports tournament that has happened every year since 2014 in Katowice, Poland. The total cash prize for this year is 972 000$. It started on February 15th and ended on February 27th.
Players of FaZe are very happy to finally win this tournament. Karrigan, FaZe’s in-game leader, showed it by getting on his knees right after the win.
FaZe AWPer player Broky doesn’t only bring home a gold medal and a trophy, he also picks up his first MVP on the way.
Players in FaZe roster are Twistzz, broky, karrigan, ropz, and rain who was subbed by JKS because of a Covid-19 issue.
The teams that lost in the Quarter-finals of IEM Katowice are Gambit and Virtus.Pro. The teams that lost in the Semi-finals are NaVi and Heroic. On Sunday, the grand final was played by FaZe Clan and G2 Esports. The best of 5 was won by FaZe with a not-so-dominant 3-0.
