On February 22nd, 2022, Kanye West released his 11th studio album Donda 2. The album itself is very interesting however, everything Ye did leading up to the album is even more fascinating. 

After West and Kim Kardashian divorced, Ye was left in a bad state of mind. He started exposing his conversations with Kardashian’s family members trying to get her phone number to talk about her daughter’s TikTok profile. After Ye found out that Pete Davidson started dating Kim, he bought the 4,5M USD house right in front of theirs to be able to “be near the family.”

Ye’s Instagram profile was also extremely active for a few days. He was seen posting and deleting dozens of photos and videos and even having to take a picture of himself with a piece of cardboard that read “ MY ACCOUNT IS NOT HACKED 2 13 22” to clarify that he was posting the images himself. It was also rumored that the dozens of photos were shortly taken down by the artist’s management.

Earlier in 2022, West released a single titled “EAZY” which featured a very disturbing image of a skinned monkey as the cover. The image was shot by British photographer Nick Night who claims that monkeys are useless to humans.
