S1mple’s Family in Ukraine, he Donates 33 000$ to Ukrainian Army

s1mple, a professional Ukrainian Counter-Strike: Global Offensive has donated 33 000$ to the Ukrainian army and expressed his feelings.

 

Oleksandr Olegovich Kostyliev a Ukrainian, better known as s1mple or Sasha is a 24 years old Counter-Strike: Global Offensive professional player currently playing for NaVi. He is one of the best players in the world, he finished 1st on the 2021 leaderboard and won the 2021 Stockholm CS: GO Major.

 

Because of s1mple’s job he travels a lot to do LAN tournaments. When the war in Ukraine started he was outside the country most probably in Katowice, Poland preparing for the IEM Katowice. This means that when Ukrainian men could no longer leave the country, he was already out of Ukraine.

 

Sasha said at the IEM Katowice, “All of us want peace—for Ukraine, and for the whole world, all of us are scared, and all of us need to show an example at this tournament. We need to stay together as a unit, with our fans, with our friends, and with everybody watching. And we all need to stay humans first.” He also posted a Tweet telling how he feels about the situation with his family still being in Kyiv, Ukraine

 

 

He also showed his support to Ukraine by donating 1 million Ukrainian hryvnias to the Ukrainian army which converted into 33 000$.
