Robbie Coltrane, the famous Hagrid in the Harry Potter movies, sadly passed away on October 14th, 2022.

He died at the age of 72 years old because of health problems. He had multiple organ failures, and he suffered from sepsis, lower respiratory tract infection and also heart problems. Robbie was also diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. “He was not the luckiest man in the world,” said some of his fans.

Many Harry Potter fanatics were shocked and upset about this news. “He was the best actor we could have wished for. He was Hagrid, and he will be remembered.” They said.

“Acting with someone for this long makes you more than colleagues,” said Danel Radcliff, the actor who played Harry Potter. “He was a very funny person, and he made everyone laugh on set,” He also mentioned that Robbie was telling stories and jokes to keep everyone’s morale up.

Emma Watson, who played Hermione, said that he was like an uncle to her and that he was deeply caring and compassionate. Emma and all the actors who were not only work friends will dearly miss Robbie. They said that they admired him so much and that they miss his hugs, his kindness and his sweetness.
