Ukraine Electricity Problems

Ukraine is in a difficult condition because of all Russian attacks, which are targeting utilities such as barrages and electricity infrastructure.

Since Ukraine lacks electricity, coal will be used to create their own. Heating and ventilating systems cannot work without electricity, so it is necessary to use coal, even if it pollutes a lot.

The electricity issues are causing lots of problems in hospitals because without electricity, many injuries become very hard if not impossible to detect. This affects the war because injured soldiers cannot be healed and go back to war.

Ukraine’s conditions are pitiful, 25% of the population has not enough heating and 60%  need to repair their home” Ukraine civilians said. Overall, this impacts mostly the access to running water, which is of course necessary.

Russia is attacking Ukraine every day with Iranian-made drones, ballistic missiles and cruise missiles. All these attacks are intended to weaken Ukraine’s infrastructure.

Ukrainians are doing everything to rebuild what Russia destroys, but it is not easy and takes a lot of effort.  “It’s going to take 2 to 3 months to rebuild the structures in Odesa civilians said but it takes a single missile to destroy all the work.

During the war, Russia has not only erased essential Ukraine structures. They killed between 170 and 450 civilians, but these numbers could be very higher.

The Russian government made 2 billion dollars in damage to the Ukrainian. Many countries are helping to make up for the damage from Ukraine and donating large amounts of money, just like the U.-S. who donated 53 million to repair the electricity infrastructure. Norway also donated 100 million and The European Council will offer 18 billion on a 10 year loan.
