This weekend, the 23rd and 24th, Éliot Grondin won for the second time at Mont-Saint-Anne.
“I took some risk [at the start of the final], it paid off and I knew what I had to do to get to the bottom [of the course] in first and it held. It’s good to get the back-to-back win at home in front of everyone.” Said Grondi
As he was home, Grondin was very busy, his family was even there to encourage him, some people say that he could have lost concentration, but people don’t know him well enough.
Last Saturday, Éliot had a minor ankle injury, he did not let it show and he easily overtook Cameron Bolton and Radek Houser in the grand final.
Cameron Bolton managed to finish second, Leon Ulbricht third and Jake Vedder was fourth.
With his 7 wins of the season, Grondin did a new men’s record at the Mont-Saint-Anne circuit. He beats every other record with his 620 points, the second, Alessandro Haemmerle has 319 which means that Grondin beats him with an advance of 301 points.
