La Camaradière has finally a chance of winning a basketball male banner after a few years without having one.
It is with a determination that the Juvenile D4 N1, the best basketball team this season, is going into this year’s playoff hoping to come back home with something to be proud of.
Surprisingly, the team qualified for the playoffs this year. It was a hard year for the team, but they still proved that they could do it. The Juveniles faced obstacles throughout the year, forcing them to adapt and persevere against adversity. They proved it by winning a game against Brébeuf, the best team of the rank, sixty-one to fifty-five.
As a team they fought in the most important games, they had their heads up in the victories as much as the defeats, and that’s what made them stronger than ever.
“We are confident to finish the work that we started with, all with certain defeats, but also a lot of hard moments that we experienced together throughout the season. As a humble team we have our chances of winning with our common strengths,” said Fiston one of the players.
The playoffs will take place at Québec High School on April 3rd. Les Éperviers will confront eight other teams such as Polyvalente de Charlesbourg, Brébeuf, and Quebec H-S.
As the final chapter of another remarkable season ends, one thing is certain they can always be proud of their performance. The Juveniles are left reflecting on the highs, lows, and unforgettable moments that defined the team. Even if they don’t come back with anything, they still gain the pride to have come this far despite many problems or differences faced during the season.
