A 22-year-old French Youtuber has planned to start the climb of Mount Everest on April 10. He announced this challenge last year to his fans.
“I want to do something I feel incapable of doing,” Inoxtag said.
Inès Benazzouz started doing videos in 2015, he wasn’t famous at the time, but he gained popularity over the years and now he does crazy things like the ascent of Mount Everest. This mountain is the highest point on land, it is a dangerous place because of the numerous avalanches, the crevices, and at a certain altitude, there is a lack of oxygen. To succeed in the climb you need a certain training, that is what Inoxtag started to do one year ago.
Inoxtag was prepared by Mathis Dumas, a top-level guide and athlete. For practice, 8 months before the climb the Youtuber ascended Mont Blanc, a 4807 meters mountain, Mont Cervin with an altitude of 4478 meters and two Himalayan peaks. He even descended Mont Blanc by parachute.
Everest has some of the best views on Earth, but the mountain abounds with trash. Over the years, 6 664 different people have climbed that mountain. These people had trash and this trash was left on the mountain because the little space they have for their things is reserved for the essentials.
“It’s disgusting a disgusting spectacle,” Pemba Dorje Sherpa, a Nepalese guide who has conquered Everest 18 times.“The mountain has tons of trash.”
322 people have died climbing Mount Everest and their bodies were also left on the mountain because it is really expensive and dangerous for the retrieval team to carry their bodies down. The mountainers that face the faith of dying, ask that if they die, they want their body to be left on the mountain as a tradition.
