The famous young singer Olivia Rodrigo is on tour for her newest album, GUTS.
The tour started on February 23rd in Palm Springs California and will end on October 22nd in Sydney, Australia with a total of 91 shows across the world. It is the second tour of her career. This show also came to the Centre Bell in Montréal.
Her singing career began at age five when she started taking vocal sessions and participating in various competitions. Olivia is also an actress and played in multiple TV shows such as High School Musical: The Series, Bizaardvark, and many more. Her first big hit was in January 2021 when her song Driver’s License first came out. From then on, she started getting more and more attention to her work. Later that year in May, Olivia released “Sour” her first full album, which became increasingly popular, especially among teenagers because they can relate to the lyrics most of the time. She mostly writes about her past relationships.
After a few years of no activity in the music industry, she released a second album on September 8th that contains twelve songs Olivia then proceeded to drop five more new songs “GUTS Spilled” to have seventeen songs in total on the album even though she said that she wrote over one hundred songs.
When the time to purchase the tickets came, fans were disappointed to see that the prices were incredibly high. Yet they still sold out really fast. The show lasts approximately an hour and a half, she sings twenty-three songs; all twelve songs from the original “GUTS” album, one from “GUTS Spilled”, nine from “Sour” and one song she wrote for the movie Hunger Games released in November 2023.
According to the fans, attending her show is really a once-in-a-lifetime experience, the decor is awesome and the vibe at the concerts is incredible.
