The Golden Globe Awards took place on January 5th 2025 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, California. The ceremony started at 8 PM.

The second place was taken by The Brutalist who ended the night with three awards, including the Golden Globe for best motion picture, drama, and the best actor win for star Adrien Brody.
On the television side, FX’s Shōgun took home four awards, winning in every category the show was nominated. A lot of people watching the Golden Globes live said they were shocked when the awards of the best actress was given to Demi Moore and Fernanda Torres.
