Each year in winter La Camaradière organizes a school activity day with plenty of options for students instead of a normal school day.

To go to the activities, the students have the choice between going by the school bus or by their own transport.

The most popular one is Village Vacances Valcartier with a price of 45$. It’s a sliding center with many snow hills with different height levels. The reason for its popularity is that it’s an amazing place to have fun with your friends, meet new people and enjoy what feels like a summer vacation.

Plenty of other activities are available to do, like watching a movie at the auditorium or playing basketball in the gymnasium.

It can be an easier access for some who don’t have a big budget.

For the activity to take place, they require at least 80% of the students to participate. Unfortunately, these fun activities will not happen due to the lack of participation.

The students who didn’t want to come said they preferred to stay at their house instead of going to the activities which is the main reason why it was canceled.

Some teachers working in the school even said they’ll make this day pure hell with lot of work. Others said they ain’t sure if there will be an activity day next year because it’s been several times that they drop projects like this.
