How did you prepare coming into the tournament?

I practised my openings a lot before every game and I tried to sleep well to be concentrated in my games.

When did you start playing the game?

I mean I’ve always played but I started taking the game seriously in 2022 because I knew I had the talent to become a great player.

What were your expectations before coming to the tournament?

Well at first I thought that I would  not  win any games because I was the underdog of the tournament. My opponnents were all rated above me but I still manage to perform very well.

How do you handle the stress/pressure during the games?

Well sometimes I stand up and watch other games to calm my nerves a little bit when it’s my opponent’s turn.

What kept you motivated throughout your chess journey?

My objective is to become an international master so really, my motivation is to get better and to get my title.

What lessons did you learned from this experience?

I proved myself that even if my rating is lower than the others ,I don’t have to get scared from theirs.I learned that beating them is not impossible.

Is there something you would like to add?

I would like to say that chess is the best board game to improve your mentality. Anyone can play it as long as you put your heart in it.
