This five-season thriller, which premiered in 2017, was not only very popular but also the most-watched non-English series in 2018. With a total of 48 episodes, each 40 minutes to one hour, the producer of this show said the series was finished, but some others about the same subject could come out on the characters’ origins. As so, the series “Berlin” came out in December 2023.

In Madrid, a group of eight robbers who chose city names for anonymity are recruited by the “Professor,” a mysterious man who will be following them during all the casts with many electronic techniques, trying not to be caught by the police. They are preparing to enter the Royal Mint of Spain and return with 2.4 billion euros.

Young Sheldon

This series also premiered in 2017. It is for people who like short entertaining episodes. Interestingly, the characters grow up over time and change accordingly. So far, there have been six seasons with 141 episodes of 22 minutes each. Also, a new season just came out on March 1st.

Iain Armitage plays Sheldon Cooper, the principal character. The film had 9.32 million viewers. From Google’s AI, “Young Sheldon,” a prequel to “The Big Bang Theory,” follows the early life of the brilliant but awkward Sheldon Cooper, exploring his family dynamics and academic pursuits in Texas.

Sheldon is a boy with a more developed brain than most of society, but he has other problems. Because of his difficulty expressing himself, he does not make friends easily and constantly contradicts his family, which is hard on their mental health. In this story, you will encounter many usual situations that are not represented enough.

Squid Game

With only two seasons for the moment, and an average of 8 episodes, this television program was created in South Korea.  Squid Game won 14 nominations, 6 Primetime Emmy Awards, and 1 Golden Globe

This story is a game where 456 players who didn’t even know where they were and what they had to do (they’ve been kidnapped), are united to play kids’ games. The total goal is to win all the money that everybody brings, which is a ₩45.6 billion (US$39.86 million) prize. To win, you have to follow the rules and survive during the challenges.
