On Tuesday, March 18, 2025, Israel forces commanded aerial attacks against Hamas that ended their cease-fire, which began in January. That conflict in Gaza has resulted in a profoundly shocking death toll surpassing 50,000, most of them being civilians.
The frequency of these strikes has left the city in ruins, the numbers have been growing with civilian casualties. Mostly everything has been destroyed, like their facilities, or their access to healthcare, food, clean water and a safe clean shelter.
More than 400 people, including children, were killed in the strikes. These numbers don’t distinguish between civilians and those who fought for Gaza. The never ending bombardments that made Israel is one of the war’s deadliest single-day tolls
The attack came after weeks of fruitless negotiation that aimed to extend the cease-fire that had put a pause on 15 months of fighting over the territory, the office of Benjamin Netanyahu, the Israel prime minister, said he had ordered the military operation after Hama’s“repeated refusal” to release the captives that were taken in October 7, 2023. Out of the 59 people remaining in Gaza, less than half are believed to be still alive.
Later on, Mr. Netanyahu suggested that more Israel attacks were coming no matter what. “This is just the beginning,” he said. “We will keep fighting to achieve all of the war’s objectives.”
Gaza is the most dangerous place for journalists because the strikes don’t spare anyone. The war in Gaza has killed more journalists than both world wars, Vietnam, Yugoslavia and Afghanistan. The Israel war has killed 232 journalists, which were people with a family, an average of 13 journalist killed per day.
Even paramedic isn’t safe. A video showed that aid workers were targeted, and when they wanted to go and see what had happened, it looked like there had been an accident. Just a moment later, Israeli troops hit them with a barrage of gunfire, and all 14 of the paramedics were killed. The only evidence of this was a video that showed part of it.
An Israeli military spokesman said that they didn’t randomly attack the ambulance. They thought that some cars that were heading toward them without lights were a sign that they were Palestinian troops and that they were going to shoot at them.
