South-east Asia is going through a hard time, considering that slavery is hardly controlled. In February, authorities from Thailand, China, and Myanmar led an operation that freed more than 7000 people from Myanmar.
These people were forced by the gangs that run the industry to scam Internet users worldwide and ”worked” in tough conditions. At first, scammers from Thailand told them they would be paid, but it was a lie.
Thousands of people from different countries, young men and women, were sick and scamming people on the Internet.
