Quebec has problems with its population getting older and its economic situation. One solution is available, immigration .It’s a controversial answer to our problems  .Some think so , but some don t. The benefits of the immigration is that the population will be active, remembering  the history of Canada and encouraging the province to help the ones in need and giving them a decent work.

First of all, old people are too numerous, young active people are necessary for a balanced economy. Because most families only have one or two children, our society will not be able to support the late baby boomers (it is people between 60 and 75 years old ).Active are people that working and inactive are people that don’t working.Our  young have to take care of them by paying the tax that hostitals can function . It will change the fact of being an old and inactive population. Immigrants people and refugees are people that Quebecers need to change the economic situation and pay taxes to develop the province. It’s positive because many CHSLD are build and are very expensive to build and maintain . The birth rate will gradually increase with immigration.

Second, remembering the history of Canada is a reflection about ignoring and forgetting  immigrants. People has to think about the fact that the ancestors of a majority of canadians were coming from  other countries .In the beginning of our country history, many immigrants came from Europe and Asia  to settle , develop the country and increase the population . Although Quebecors consider immigration as a solution , they are scared  because new migrants mostly come from arabic countries.

Thereafter, immigration has the power of provinding more work for people in need. We have to do things well. Do not look to enjoy the misfortunes  of others .That said, I think for some,this would be good news to know that there are people who expect somewhere . The Quebecors that are there, anyone that does not have a work, we will welcome them with pleasure, because we have many available positions .This is  what the mayor of Quebec, Régis Labeaume , said to help the people in Alberta. He has to think about immigrants in this way. They need the same help and care than everyone else. It is in a great time because the unemployment rates in Quebec is around four and  five percent in the last three years. Immigration has to be active in Quebec ,or in Canada, principaly in the north of Saskatchewan , the north of Ontario, Terre-Neuve , Manitoba, Alberta and Nunavut

As a  conclusion, immigration is a project that has to be done quickly and totaly. Quebecors, consider immigration as an investment for a better future for our young .
