The first phase of the Fleur de Lys project was delivered to the general public on Friday, March 21. Indeed, Trudel Corporation inaugurated the first building in front of hundreds of future residents, 400 tenants, and many guests.
“We’ve been preparing for this day for four years now. We’re really happy. It’s a success. The tenants are happy, and it’s mission accomplished,” explained William Trudel, President, CEO, and founder of Trudel Corporation.
The founder of this project made sure to meet the needs of any future resident, by providing a pool, barbecues and a gold key. Trudel plans to build 4,500 rental units throughout 5 to 10 years, 2,500 trees, a hotel with 175 to 200 rooms and a public square. They estimate this will cost over two billion dollars.
Due to all this, Fleur de Lys will be a completely brand new place. There will also be shops and restaurants on the ground floor of each building, giving room to at least a thousand people to sit there.
“It wasn’t easy to launch this major project, but everything is progressing well. We’re on schedule and on budget. We’ve even moved construction of the second phase forward by a year. It will be delivered in the summer of 2026,” announced Trudel. For now, things are going well for Jonathan and William Trudel.
