Miss Christine lived in a small village named Saint-Félicien, which is located in Lac Saint-Jean. Everyone there was speaking in French, so she began to learn English on her own. One day, she went to the cinema to watch Dirty Dancing, and she realized that she wanted to live in the city and see the world. So, after finishing secondary 5, she moved to Quebec.
When she moved to Quebec, she participated in an exchange program with students and then went to Alberta, where she further developed her English skills. She really got into it, and when she came back, she decided to do the same thing but with Spain. She enjoyed learning new languages; she learned quickly and was skilled at it.
Initially, Miss Christine didn’t want to become a teacher; it wasn’t her dream. What she liked was languages, and she had learned English, Spanish, and German. At first, she didn’t know what to do with that, but she thought she could become a translator. Miss Cleary then met her husband; her husband’s father was an English teacher, and he inspired her. She was not sure but decided to study it anyway. All of it was not planned.
Christine has been a teacher for now 30 years and she is going to retire in 3 years. During her career, she taught students in grades four, five, and six of elementary school. She also taught secondary one to five, but mostly secondary five and secondary one. Miss Christine first taught secondary five for 12 years and has been teaching English concentration to secondary one for the past 10 years.
Christine is 55 years old and has two boys and one daughter. When she comes back from school, she likes to eat chips, and occasionally, she also really enjoys eating brownies. This teacher also loves to travel. Indeed, in two weeks, she will be going to Italy and plans another trip to India in September; she will return in October.
Everyone likes to have her as their teacher. Indeed, they always go to see her during lunchtime, they want to talk with her, and Miss Christine also likes it. Christine Cleary said that if she could go back in time, she would still choose to become a teacher. ” I was made for this job,” she said. She also said that we should all get a job that we love.
