The billionaire,3-time Grammy winner, and dad of Bad Boy Records, Sean Combs’ trial started in May 2025. It is expected to last at least 10 weeks at the Federal Courthouse in Manhattan.
He has been charged with racketeering, conspiracy, transporting to engage in prostitution, and sex trafficking by force . If he is convicted, he faces 15 years to life in prison. On the other hand, he did not plead guilty and denied the allegations.
According to prosecutors, four accusers are expected to plead against Sean Combs, “Diddy,” but their identities aren’t known to the public.
120 victims have been identified, one being his ex-wife, the R&B singer Cassie Ventura. She reported violent arguments. ‘’He would smash me in my head, knock me over, drag me, kick me, stomp me.”A video caught the rapper beating and dragging her down in a hotel hallway in 2016, for which he apologized in a video on his social media. She later filed a lawsuit in 2023 saying Diddy had abused, beat and raped her through all their years of relation. It led to several consequences, such as mental and physical trauma.
After he was arrested in September of 2024 in a hotel in New York, he was brought to court by the FBI. The organisation searched two of his houses, which are located in Miami and Los Angeles. Those houses held his parties, known as the White parties. Authorities claimed that most of the abuse would have taken place at the ‘’freak off.
The Police found 1000 bottles of baby oil, 120 cellphones, laptops, and other electronics, which were used to find evidence on the ”Freak Off’. Furthermore, multiple AR-15 style guns and drugs were found, but it does not prove that he used them on his victims.

A lot of celebrities were involved, like Leonardo DiCaprio, Justin Bieber, Jay-Z, Beyoncé, etc. After the ”White parties” Puff Daddy held ”Freak off’ which are elaborate performances involving sex workers that Diddy directs with or without the participants’ consent. He also uses drugs to keep people comfortable.
