The second day of the trip was by far the most memorable day, because we went to Canada Wonderland and Medieval Times. In Canada Wonderland, there were many attractions, and most of the students seemed to enjoy it a lot. There were many food stands and gift shops in the area. After that, we went to Medieval Times, which was an arena where you could watch different teams fight against each other. We were eating during the show.
For example, we ate tomato soup that came with a piece of garlic bread. There were approximately 1000 people in the arena. They were separated into seven different teams defined by colors. Our team, the red team, won the game against all the other teams. “My throat was sore and the next day I couldn’t speak much.” -Sarah, secondary 2 student.
We were with the Secondary 1 and 2 students, also with their teachers, Miss Christine Cleary and Miss Marie-Claude Blais. Most of the time, we had a lot of free time to visit everything we wanted. The driver of the luxury bus, Guy, wanted us to call him “Nounou”.
Here are the students’ and teachers’ opinions on the trip:
The favorite memory was the bus ride back to Quebec.”On the way there, everyone was singing and yelling even if we were tired.” – Mégane, Sec. 2 student. The favorite activities according to the people were Medieval Times and Canada Wonderland.”My favorite activity was Canada Wonderland, and it was my first time doing a roller coaster.” -Miss Marie-Claude Blais.”My favorite activity was Medieval Times because I wasn’t expecting such an amazing show.” -Miss Christine.
After the trip, coming back to Quebec was difficult because we had to return directly to our routine. Also, going back to school, homework was hard, as we had a fantastic time in Toronto. On the way back to Quebec City, the ambiance was loud and noisy, as everybody was exhausted and hyped. Finally, the trip was a complete success, and all the students had a wonderful time.
