Phone Access

All your life given in the hand of the state. Should the government have access to our phones? No way! Compagnies are selling their phones by praising their privacy politics. Also, I wouldn’t let the government have access to my phone because there are too many personals things in it, and the case Apple vs FBI is an example of betraying someone else private.

First of all, when a compagny sells a phone, the compagny will praise its privacy politic by saying that only the customers will have access to their phones. For example, Apple, one of the biggest phone compagny in the world, has put codes on their products to protect the confidentiality of their customers. What would happen if the government would be able to have access to our phones? All the credibility of the compagnies would have no importance because our phones would be no more protected by the privacy politics which are so praised by them. Indeed, we, all the phones users, would give no more importance to what kind of mobile they buy.

After, in my phone, I have a lot of personals content which I wouldn’t let the government access to. I don’t even let my parents use my phone without always watching what they are doing with it, so imagine what would happen if I knew that the government had access to my mobile. Sometimes , there are people sending explicit pictures to their friends and then we find naked posts on facebook. It proves that we can’t trust anybody, not even our friends. Also, when we send a message it has to stay personal. when I send a message to someone, I don’t want anybody to see my conversations. For example, I could send someting personal to my friends like a secret which I don’t want anybody to discover. Sometimes, we see some people that send personal messages to their friends and then two seconds after, everybody knows what the person confess. This is why our mobile content should not be aceeded by the government or anybody else.

Also, we can compare this with the Apple vs FBI case. In this conflict which was Apple, one of the biggest phone compagny in the world, and the FBI, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the main subject was that the FBI wanted Apple’s code that give access to all Iphone. Apple wanted to protect their customers by following the privacy politics therefore, they didn’t give the code. The FBI wanted this code to be able to unlock a terrosist Iphone which was found after the San Bernardino attack. This case was going to be decided in front of the justice, but the FBI finally paid a hacker 1,3 million dollars to be able to access to the Iphone. It’s a lot of money for only one hack, but if they did it once, they could still ask the help of the hacker. Even tough your phone is under the protection of one of the biggest mobile compagny in the world, secrets services will always find a way, more or less cheap, to enter in your phone. I don’t think the government would be ready to pay 1,3 million dollars everytime they want the access to a cell.

In brief, the government should not have access to our phones, because it would ruin all the compagnies credibilty. Also, no one will accept the fact that the government would access all their pictures and the Apple vs FBI case bring us to think that the ministry will always find a way to enter in your database anyway. Do you think that all the phone dealers tell you the truth when they sell you their products.
