Stranger Things is a new popular series on Netflix created by The Duffer Brothers that includes elements of thriller, mystery, sci-fi and horror.

The show is set in 1980s in the fictional town of Hawkins, in Indiana, and it’s an homage of 80s, inspired by the work of many references like E.T in 1982, Firestarter in 1984, Alien in 1979, The Goonies in 1985, Poltergeist in 1982, Explorers in 1985…

The plot is in a small town, in 1993, and a peculiar incident starts a chain of events that leads to the disappearance of a child named Will. The government agencies converge on the town a supernatural forces. Will’s friends Dustin, Mike and Lucas discover a telekinetic girl who claims to know Will’s location.

Now there’s just only the first season but the second will comes in 2017 with 9 new episodes.
