Indoor Water Park Ready
November 30, 2016
On December 2nd, the 65 million dollars indoor Bora water park will finally open its doors to the public.
The director of the Village Vacance Valcartier presented the project of the new water Park on July 7th, 2015 and the project has reached completion one year later.
On June 20th of this year, the VVV invited the members of the press to come visit the water park in construction. They saw that the construction of the park was on schedule and were impressed by the massive size of the project.
Customers won’t be able to see outside of the water park because the designers wanted to produce a Polynesian atmosphere, a snowy surrounding wouldn’t achieve that… After all, why go to Polynesia if you can live a similar experience close to your home. The indoor water park will keep the room temperature at 30°c all year, even in winter.
We will be able to find many different popular attractions inside the Bora park,
- A 4 000 sq ft wave pool
- More then 14 slides, with 5 that are 50 ft tall
- A family pool with water games
- A river full of activities
- A double surf wave
- A restaurant with private spaces for groups.
You will need reservations for the water park since it can only accommodate 1000 people. The fees are as followed::
