Magic Ginger Soup

Snow is brown, there is ice everywhere, the sky is grey, it’s freezing and you feel depressed… Well, here’s one of my cozy, cheap and easy soup recipe to cheer you up, ’cause winter is not over yet!

Ginger soup

Perfect to cure common cold and digestion problems, ginger soup is a miracle remedy! It is the equivalent of chicken broth but it works 10 times better! It is a marvelous concoction coming straight from China!

Ingredients:

  • a lot++ of fresh ginger cut in thin slices
  • 1 lime
  • brown sugar ( 3-5 spoons)
  • hot water (4 cups)
  • cloves (optional)

Preparation:

  1. Boil water in a pot.
  2. Add the ginger and let it infuse.
  3. Add the brown sugar.
  4. Serve hot with lime juice.

*For better results, eat the ginger.

**Cooked chicken breast can be add to the recipe
