Anxiety is a mental disorder widespread among teenagers and even adults all around the world. It’s one of the most important disorders but it is possible to defeat it.

Most of the adolescents think they are alone facing this obstacle but they are not. Ten percent of kids and teens suffer from anxiety disorders. A normal dose of nervousness is normal; we need it to protect ourselves from different situations. But when it’s high, it prevents us from fully living our life. It’s regular to be scared when you try something new, but it’s three times more stressful for a kid who has panic issues. Nobody truly understands what they are going through. ‘’Calm down’’ They say.  DON’T YOU THINK IF IT WAS SO EASY, EVERYBODY WOULD HAVE DONE IT BY NOW? That’s why there are qualified people who can guide you.

Nathalie Parent, a psychologist for teenagers and adults wrote a book to help youngsters who suffers from uncertainty. In this novel, she explains how people with that kind of difficulty feel like and she created some tests for you to see if you really have an uneasiness. She makes you realize that a lot of humans are living with this trouble too. Nathalie is also proposing a lot of tips to help you fight stress.

The book is named ‘’Alex’’ and she’s a fictional girl who tells her own story and what she did to change her behavior to help her feel better. It helps to track down the origin of your fears and win confidence to face them. It advises you to show and understand your emotions as well. Because Like Mrs. Parent wrote: ‘’an emotion, it’s like an iceberg. Only a part is visible.’’

I bought it and personally it was one of the most truthful and helpful book I’ve ever read. I truly recommend it for everybody who struggles with stress every day. I cannot promise it’ll solve everything but it can shrink your doubts
