The Naska circuit is a popular north american karate circuit . It regroups the best martial artists in the iworld and will be at the peps in April 2016.

There are 12 competitions in USA and 1 in Canada, Quebec.The next competition is in Chicago Illinois, the Aka Warrior Cup on January 15 and 16 . There will also be a banquet on January 14 every competitor that gets ranked high enough will get a Naska belt one of the most prestigious price in the world of karate .

The competition in Quebec is the Quebec Open. It will be on the 29-30th of April 2016.The promoters are David Bossinot ,Samuel Gagnon and Claire Cocosa. The competitions will be held, at the Laval  University.

The competitions count 3 big categories divided in sub categories all separated in age groups.The first one is the traditional kata, a kata is a succesion of mouvement  miming fight. The second category is Fight It consists of 2 people fighting in a ring. The goal is to touch the other fighter without being touched with kicks or punchs. This category is divided in age groups and weight. The last category is the weapons form it consists to do a kata with a weapon. This category is separated in 3 sub categories the creative weapon form, the musical weapon form, and the traditional weapon form.For the creative weapon category, the competitors can trow their weapons and can do flips. The musical weapon is the same as the creative weapon. Except that it is on a music. The traditional weapon consist to do a kata keeping always the weapon in one hand and without flip. Most of the events are judged with an elaborate point system.
