On october first, at 2:o3 a.m, a car accident occured at the corner of Chauveau and J-Parent in  neufchatel.

A 37 years old mother  was going home from her work, as usual ,when the worst happened. Martin Pouliot, the host of a public radio show, caused the accident by not stopping at the red light. According to the police , the driver was under the influence of alcohol. The impact was violent and injured the woman

Even if the woman’s life isn’t in danger, a long rehabilitation will come.

“She’s broken, teared. She’s conscious, but messed up. She had a tear in the diaphragm because of the strengh of the impact. Her stomach ended up in her lungs.” he explained.

The woman will have to get an operation to her hip. She is suffering a lot. “She can’t drink, eat and she can’t move” he continued.

“I just can’t believe that in 2017, with all the resources that we’ve got, that it does happen again and again” said the car victim’s husband.

Martin Pouliot, is offiicialy accused of drunk driving. The perpetrator had to pay a 1 000 dollar to earn his freedom back. He also has to respect the curfew from 10 pm to 6 am and he had to give his driving licence. He will be back in court on November 17.  His collaboration with BLVD and LCN, has been removed.
