A baseball bat company named B45 installed in Quebec City appeared in the MLB.

The company was created in 2004 by Michel Laplante and Olivier Lepine. The factory is in Sainte-Catherine-De-La-Jacques-Cartier.

All their bats are made of yellow birch that comes from the province of Quebec. They use it because it is a hardwood that absorbs less inertia created by the ball energy. Also, this wood is resilient and is very flexible.

In 2015, B45 was acquired by a new group led by former Major League pitcher Eric Gagne. With the help of brand ambassadors such as Carlos Gonzalez, Jonathan Lucroy and young pitcher Phillippe Aumont, the company is growing faster than ever, both professionally and amateurishly. Their entire team is driven by renewed energy and is more motivated than ever. This company is formed of  21 ambassadors.  There is 71 pro players in the Nationals, 31 pro players in the Americans that use their bats like Russel Martins. The company sells other things like t-shirts, caps, gloves, accessories and you can custom your own baseball bat. The average price of a custom bat is 149,99$.

Recently, in the series of the MLB, Joc Pederson hit an important home run for the Dodgers. He used a B45 bat to hit the ball out of the field. Also, during the series 2 players named Enrique Hernandez and Yuli Gurriel of the Astros hit important home runs.

“Our mission is to remain the leader in the manufacturing of baseball bats and equipment recognized for their absolute quality and innovation for both professional and amateur players”, Eric Gagne said.
