Pyramids had been there for 4500 Years but they’re still interesting and fascinating. Recently scientist found a new room in the pyramid of Giza.

The new discovery is the result out of the Scan Pyramids Project, an international mission Under the authority of Egypt’s Ministry of Antiquities. Launched in October 2015, the project aims to non-invasively peer into Egypt’s largest pyramids using a battery of technologies.http://www.scanpyramids.org/?lang=fr The chamber was discovered by using a cosmic particle. The precise technique is called “muon scanning”. “It’s a striking discovery “, says Chris Morris a physicist to Egypt’s Ministry of Antiquities.

The room is estimated to be 345 feet from the ground and a hundred feet long. The room had been found by a team of scientists from France and Japan. Until now, despite centuries of study, no one knew that this room existed. Scientists can then use that information to work out what parts of the inside of the pyramid have cavities inside them.  Scientists think that the corridor will be another passage to a new room or tomb. That will be another mystery.

The pyramid is about 500 feet, one of the biggest, but scientists don’t know why this room isn’t in another monolith.  Giza is about 2.3 million limestone blocks. This monument is the largest one ever built. In the void, -there are some holes that may be as big as a plane.
