Loosing your job for a finger

A woman who raised her middle finger at Donald Trump, in October, has been fired from her job in Virginia.

The woman, Julie Brickman, says she acted like that only because she saw a great opportunity to show the world how she was feeling about the actual situation in the US. She does not regret her move at all though.

“The actual situation of our country makes me angry. I am literally upset. I think it was a great opportunity for me to say something”, said Julie emotionally.

She started, a few months ago, to work for Akima, a marketing company before she got fired. The company explained their decision by the fact that Julie violated the politic of social media by putting this photo as her profile picture. However, she is thinking about working for PETA, an organism focusing on animal protection.

Julie Brickman is trying to prove the sexist injustice in this situation. In the past, a man did a similar thing but kept his job anyway.
