In Quebec City, Galeries de la Capitale is a really popular shopping center and it’s in reparation right now. That includes mainly a new Mega Parc, but also probably a new hotel.

Stephane Landry, the managing director of the shopping center, said that he has a big interest for the project of a futur hotel. The hotel would probably be on top of the actual Simons and there would have many floors. This big project would cost millions of dollars. It will probably be ready for 2021.

Many promoters went to visit the site and one of them, Jean-Yves Germain, from the Groupe Germain Hotels of Quebec, said that he is interested in the project. He also said that the location of the hotel in the city had a lot of potential.

People think that this project would be great for the city and for tourism even if it’s going to cost a lot of money.
