There are many funny and surprising facts about Christmas that you probably do not know. Here is a list of ten of these interesting facts;

 

1. Rudolph, the popular Christmas reindeer, was created by the Montgomery Ward department store. They used this red-nosed animal to get children to buy their coloring books.

 

2. In Poland, at Christmas, spiders are a symbol of prosperity and goodness. They often use this arachnid and some spider webs to decorate their Christmas trees. There’s also a legend that explains that a spider wove a blanket to Jesus when he was a baby.
