Spencer, a movie about princess Diana will be released in 2022, 25 years after her tragic death.

     Kristen Stewart, a 30 years old actress, who was seen last in the movie Underwater, will be casting Diana Spencer. This movie will be very different from  her most popular movie, The Twilight Saga. The fans already have a little  “sneak peak” of a first look of Stewart as  princess Diana, shown in a picture.

     For now, only Diana’s role was cast. The script writer is Steven Knight, creator of Peaky Blinders, a series about a gangster family in the 1900s in England. The movie director is Pablo Larrain, directed the movie Jackie(2016) and a lot more.

     “Spencer is a dive inside of an emotional imagining of who Diana was at a point a provital turning point in her life.” Stewart said.

     This movie focuses on Diana’s decision to her separation from Charles. It is like the following of the serie The Crown. The story is on three days, Christmas Eve, Christmas and Boxing Day. The royal family is spending the holidays at Sandringham Estate where they usually spend Christmas.

     “Spencer takes place over three days, and it’s this really poetic, internal imagining of what that might have felt like, rather than giving new information.” Kristen told to Jimmy Kimmel on Jimmy Kimmel Live!. 

     Kristen Stewart said in an interview with InStyle magazine that she has been prepared for a long time to play this role. She even has been practicing her british accent.

     In an interview with Deadline in June when the project was announced, Larrrain told that Stewart was one of the great actors today. He also said that something important in movies is mysterious, and that she can be many things but she can be very mysterious, very fragile and very strong. Which is what they need for the movie.

     The movie will be produced around autumn 2021 and will be released in 2022.
