On March 9th, Elon Musk made a record 25 billion dollars in a single day thanks to Tesla’s action.

     Elon Musk, a business magnate, industrial designer, Tesla’s president director-general, the second wealthiest person in the world has seen his total fortune growing to 174 billion dollars. Musk is also known for being SpaceX’s CEO, an American company that specializes in Astronautics, and space flight. 

     Elon Musk was the wealthiest man in the whole world until he lost 15 billion dollars in one day last year(January 22nd) by leaving Jeff Bezos, Amazon owner and founder the first position. This time, the naturalized Canadian-American man won 25 billion dollars in a single day. 

     He benefited from a 20% jump in Tesla’s stock. Which is the biggest progression in a year according to www.bloomberg.com. Elon Musk has now achieved 174 billion dollars but that’s not enough to dethrone The Amazon owner who owns the first position of the wealthiest person whose fortune is estimated to 179,9 billion dollars.

     Elon Musk was born on June 28th, 1971  in Pretoria, in South Africa. Musk was born to from Canadian mother and a South African father. He is the founder of the 2002 SpaceX company which specialized in Astronautic and spatial flight, 2003 Tesla motors now called Tesla INC has the goal to build electric cars and X.com which later become Paypal. At the age of ten years, Elon got an interest in computers. He taught himself about how to program and at the age of 12, he sold his software called Blastar. He attended the University of Pretoria before he moved to Canada at 17 years old to attend Queen’s University in 1989. In the same year, he moved to the United States to study Physics and business at the University of Pennsylvania.
