The star of the Rangers, Artemi Panarin, left the New-York team for an indefinite time after being accused of assaulting a woman in a bar.

Indeed, Artemi Panarin, 29 years old, has been accused of hitting a woman 10 years ago in a bar in Latvia(Russia) by his KHL(hockey league in Eurasia) coach Andrei Nazarov after he supported Alexei Navalny the opponent of the president of the Russia Vladimir Poutine on social media.

Everything leads to believe that the most valuable player of the Rangers was the victim of a political revenge by Poutine. Some people believe that in 2011, Panarin has paid 40 000 euro to keep this story secret.

The Rangers’ season is not going very well and without Panarin, it was more difficult.” It’s hard to overcome losing a player like him from a hockey standpoint, but we’ve got to find a way to do it,” said the Rangers’ coach David Quinn.

The players of the american NHL team really missed Panarin.  “Whatever happens, whatever the timeline, we’ll welcome him back with more than open arms,” said his teammate Ryan Strome. “I think Bread knows how much we love him, how much we care for and how much we appreciate him”. His teammates call him bread or the breadman because of the Panera bakery chain.

Now, Panarin is back on the ice after a month of absence. “Having him back does so many things not only on the ice, but just mentally,” said the coach David Quinn. Mika Zibanejad, a Rangers’ forward said that having him on the ice gave them a boost in their 4-0 win against the Boston’s Bruins two weeks ago.
