The richest man in the world is helping Ukraine by giving access to internet by his satellites in space

The internet in Ukraine has been affected mostly in the south and east part of the country since the Russian invasion. The internet might have been hacked or it’s maybe because of the bombings coming from the Russia’s army. The president needs to be able to talk to his population to tell them information. The TV tower from the biggest city was broken by a rocket. Russia could give them fake news and it wouldn’t advance Ukraine.

The country was worried about getting a blackout of the internet and it could have made it easier for Russia to invade the country.

Since Ukraine is in bad conditions, they asked for help from other countries.

We ask you to provide Ukraine with Starlink stations and to address sane Russians to stand.” Ukraine’s vice prime minister, Mykhailo Fedorov, said on Twitter. The same day Elon musk responded “Starlink service is now active in Ukraine. More terminals en route.”

Starlink are a bunch of satellites in space that provide high-speed internet around the globe. They are owned by Elon Musk, the CEO of SpaceX. The first satellites were launched in 2019 at 550 kilometers from earth. Starlink satellites are launched by a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket. Star link internet is very easy to use. A router comes in the box with all the cable and the base, you only need to follow the instructions.
