In Canada, about 2 years ago, a man killed a lot of people in Nova Scotia. Canada decided it was time to open an investigation on this horrible slaughter.

A man, who was a 51 years dental technician, murdered people by shooting them. Some he knew and some were complete strangers. Doing this for two days straight, the man was driving a fake police car and was dressed up as a policeman. Real police officers started searching for this man for 12 hours before committing the unthinkable in a gas station. The information about the motive wasn’t reviled.

About 16 different crime scenes were found, such as burned-down houses and buildings. 22 victims were then identified, including the murderer himself, Gabriel Wortman.

During the opening of the investigation, on the 22th of February, Commissioner McDonald named the 22 victims of the murder. A minute of silence was accorded to them.

After the crime, a site was created. The Mass Casualty Commission.

It was established in October 2020 by the federal government to consider what happened on the 18th and 19th of April. It was put in place mainly to clarify what happened and provide recommendations to keep communities safe in the future. It provides information about different problems and proposes help for the one who needs it.
