There are a lot of different sports and basketball is one of the most popular sports.

In this article, I will be talking about Gabby Williams, a wonderful basketball player. She’s got a lot of success in this sport and her history with it is really inspiring.

Mrs. Williams is a 1.80 meters woman born on September 9th 1996, in Sparks, a small town in Nevada, USA. She plays for Sopron Basket, a women’s team participating in the higher division of hongrois championships. Her actual team is the Storm of Seattle where she is number 15.

Younger, she was doing athletics. It’s later in her life that she decided to do basketball. In 2012, she participated in the selection to enter the USA athletics team in high jump. She manages to be a replacement but not so long after, she got a cruciate ligament rupture. She’s had one first operation but it didn’t go as planned so she needed a second intervention and then decided to stop athletics to concentrate on basketball.

Gabby Williams was really close to Kobe Bryant and his girl, Gianna. He was her mentor.

From 2014 to 2018, she played college basketball at UConn. She follows the basket programm and is recruited by Connecticut Huskies. With them, she won the NCAA title in 2015 and 2016.
