1: Monochrome look

One of the most popular fashion trends of the season is the monochrome look. This trend is to wear only one colour for the entire outfit. Those outfits are the most stylish and effortless when they incorporate multiple shades of the same hue.  Monochrome look is an art because you must know how to combine textures and similar tones. Monochrome looks have been there for a long time, but it is starting to take over the fashion industry. This trend is popular among bloggers and influencers who are interested in fashion. Several celebrities wear it like Gigi Hadid, Hailey Bieber, Millie Bobby Brown and many others.

2: 90’s style

The style of the 90’s has been making a comeback lately. It’s been 30 years since this decade started, but that hasn’t stopped these iconic looks from resurfacing. 90’s style is about wearing colourful clothes and combining styles together. These looks are inspired by TV celebrities, supermodels and famous people like Britney Spears. Hip-hop has a big role in the 90’s fashion. Hip-hop looks were defined by oversize fit and long silhouettes. One reason cited for this is that many kids growing up poor in cities like New York, La, and Chicago would receive clothes from their older siblings or friends.

In fashion, the demise of skinny jeans is now old news. The style to replace them in 2022 is low-rise pants. They became popular during the 60’s and 70’s. They have made a comeback lately. Worn at your hips, low-rise pants are meant to sit well below your natural waist. They have a tendency to make your hips look wider and legs look shorter. Celebrities that defined pop culture like Rihanna, Christina Aguilera and more were spotted wearing low-rise pants on red carpets. Many new brands are also involved in the trend. Searches for low-rise pants are up of 58% year on year on global shopping platforms. Sadly you cannot wear those pants at school.
